We rebuilt the QSL 9 G2 Cummins engine and we have it in stock ready for sale, all of our rebuilt engines are fully built top to bottom using brand new components and gaskets. The engine suffered from excessive oil burning.

The process of rebuilding the engine includes;



  1. Disassembly of the engine
  2. Manual scrubbing of heavy debris
  3. Engine degreasing
  4. Hot akaline spray jet cleaning
  5. Pnuematic wire brushing
  6. Ultrasonic cleaning
  7. Removal of broken studs
  8. Measuring all the various sizes of the components to manufacturer specifications
  9. Machining of cylinder bore to accept new pistons
  10. Check for warpage with straight edge
  11. Milling cylinder head surface
  12. Cutting valve seats
  13. Gnurling valve guides
  14. Machining valve surfaces or replacement
  15. Testing valve spring resistance
  16. Magnaflux cylinder heads for crack detection
  17. Adjust valve clearance 
  18. Assemble cylinder head
  19. Machine crankshaft to accept new bearings
  20. Assemble engine with all new pistons, piston rings, rod bearings, main bearings, oil pump, timing kit, balance shaft bearings, valvetrain components, lifters, etc.
  21. Spin test engine

Must reattach all your original emissions system to maintain emissions compliance and cannot be installed into brand new equipment or downgrading from a higher emissions category.
